Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Operational Management Support

Avetus played a key role in supporting the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery’s (BUMED) readiness alignment initiatives during a period of significant organizational change. As the Defense Health Agency (DHA) charted its strategic direction, BUMED faced the challenge of simultaneously maintaining legacy fixed facility operations and advancing healthcare maintenance, all while preparing for evolving readiness requirements.

Avetus collaborated closely with BUMED to ensure that operational and medical readiness objectives were met. This included aligning resources, processes, and personnel to support the Navy’s mission and the broader goals of the Military Health System.
