M365 Solution Architect / SharePoint Developer – Remote

Avetus Partners, a DC-based Information Technology Company, is seeking a M365 Solution Architect / SharePoint Developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions with a focus on SharePoint Online at the Defense Logistics Agency. This role bridges business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring robust collaboration, workflow automation, and secure document management across the organization.

M365 Solution Architect / SharePoint Developer – Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture
• Design and architect end-to-end M365 solutions, emphasizing SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and related Microsoft cloud services.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
• Develop technical roadmaps and best practices for M365 adoption and governance.
• SharePoint Development
• Build, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
• Develop custom web parts, apps, and integrations using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, and Power Automate.
• Migrate content and solutions from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Collaboration & Integration
• Integrate SharePoint with other M365 services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Power BI) and third-party applications.
• Automate business processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Provide guidance on information architecture, metadata, and taxonomy design.
• Support & Training
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint and M365 services.
• Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users and administrators.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices for collaboration, security, and compliance within M365.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in architecting and developing solutions on Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint Online.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and Microsoft Graph API.
• Strong understanding of M365 security, compliance, and governance features.
• Experience with content migration tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen
